I worked at Life Time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Strong company culture, great training and tons of support for success. The company really does want employees to be successful and they encourage teams within a club to help each other out.

    Cons

Corporate hierarchy is a little rough and they like employees to fit the mold, but a lot of people were very successful in that environment - just depends on what you're looking for.

    Pros

I loved the free gym membership and the discounts on food, spa, and personal fitness.

    Cons

    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Life Time part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Free membership and competitive pay

    Cons

Branding makes some of their fitness practices unsafe for everyone- example we were told to not teach body alignment in fitness classes. High turnover of instructors. Management not always knowledgeable about their own department as they hire people for positions they have no previous experience in, poor communication, promoted hive mentality over in the moment problem solving, I left because I was continually asked to teach practices that my previous training and knowledge led me to believe they were not safe and management dismissed my concerns.

    Advice to Management

Listen to the people who have lived and worked in the community.
