Pros

Being a non-profit, this company actually helps a lot of people, that feels really good to work here. Benefits were pretty good. PTO time seemed fair. Coworkers were fun to work with.

Cons

No room for growth. Most employees that wanted to move up, seem to be roadblocked by people they hire off the street. Invest in the employees that have the knowledge and have the drive, instead of forcing them to stay at their current position. Working as someone that supported the staff, more often than not I was talked down to instead of trying to work with me. Seemed as though we didn't work for the same company in the way I was talked to. Completely unacceptable and was just brushed off, or "that's just how that employee is". Senior management had 0 knowledge of what we actually did as a job, but somehow was placed in this position. If you don't know what your employees do how are you supposed to support them. Almost no communication from them. The biggest issue is the WFH debacle. The CEO seems to think everyone inside of an office will work better instead of working from home, regardless of the statistics disproving this. He must live minutes/seconds away from the office, because after a 45 minute commute both ways, and daily useless meetings, my productivity was down the drain. The very, very few days I could work form home, my productivity was almost double that of someone in the office with the same role.

Pros

Friendships. "People who work together stay together" Clean work environment. Health care use to be great but I think it's going down everywhere.

Cons

VERY VERY top heavy. Greed at the top. No leadership at the top or middle. Blame is pushed downward. Do as your told, not as leadership does. There are no processes for management reviews by their direct reports, it only goes downward.
