Pros

Your peers (for bonding over shared workplace hardships)

Cons

The way this company handles their public image vs. what really goes on on the inside (at least in paid social) is horrifying - unless you read all of these poor reviews, you would never know. Especially scary when all of the responses are all along the lines of “We see you! We hear you! But you’re wrong. We do everything correctly!”. That is LP’s/paid social’s biggest issue - there has never once been accountability. They never abide by their core values, there is no transparency, and it promotes nothing but an unhealthy and toxic work environment that will eat you from the inside out. Your career and growth here will not be dependent on skill, it will be dependent on how well you can kiss the ring and never question authority. The second you even think about asking questions or disagreeing, you are put on their radar and at the end of the day, you’re just a number. What’s truly horrifying about this department is all of the corruption that is hidden behind virtue signaling and pretending to care about the working environment and their employees, when they not only allow and enable discrimination, but promote the people who do it. The one time social leadership was truly confronted with a liability issue, they quietly “demoted“ an team lead with a history of documented fatphobia, ableism, rampant toxic and threatening behavior, and labeled the demotion as “logistical changes due to their restructuring of the department”. Meanwhile, at any other company, this individual would’ve been promptly fired. But nope, they’re still in leadership! Just a different title. Good luck if you have to work under them. They had 3 people total quit under them, citing their behavior as a “leader” as a large part of their decision to leave, but leadership doesn’t want to fire them because of how good this “leader” is at turning their head and staying quiet. None of it is worth working here at the end of the day even if you can ignore all of the above, because you are paid absurdly below industry average for having an absurdly large book compared to other agencies. You physically and emotionally can’t give enough to your clients for them to have a good experience unless you work 12 hours a day with how much work you are given. And if you’re okay with doing all of that, there’s still a chance they’ll fire you with no warning and give you no reason as to why they did it. The best thing you can do for yourself is walk away before that happens with some dignity left. Your mental health and well being is not worth a free Chic Fil A sandwich on Wednesdays.

Pros

I enjoyed working with my team and thought management was supportive and very personable. The culture was positive and people wanted to help each other succeed. Overall, it was a good environment to learn and grow.

Cons

Training could have been more in depth, and it felt like there wasn't quite enough time to get fully ramped up before being measured on performance. Communication between departments could have been better at times.

Pros

You learn a lot about the industry Some of the people are great to work with The time off & holiday schedules are decent

Cons

The pay is below market value in most positions The company reorganizes at least one team every 2-3 months Upper upper management doesn't care at all about the employees The culture has gotten so bad Leadership has gotten less transparent every year and it's one of the core values! I bet half the human positions are gone by next year
