Pros
Maverick Technologies has a great company atmosphere. All of the upper management is extremely friendly and always out there to chat. There is also a good amount of freedom in work-life balance.
Cons
It's a bit difficult to move up in the organization. They promote people who are capable of only doing one thing up before they hire people with relevant skills across the board. It all depends on how billable an employee is. Their pay, insurance, 401K is pretty sub-par. There are a lot more competitive companies out there. They seem to give out the same wages for job title despite where you live, so definitely missing out on competitive pay. Projects are hit or miss. Sometimes you get good projects, other times you get projects that will make you want to tear out your hair in frustration. Projects are highly dependent on the Project Manager you get. They will scrutinize every hour on your time card down to a T. There's also a lot of relocation and travel included in the work. If you're not down to travel, they will likely not consider you come time for performance reviews. They can't seem to retain top talent. There's a lot of new hires coming in and a lot of senior level employees leaving.
