Fun and interesting but teetering on unstable - Engineer MTS Systems Employee Review

- previously (before being acquired by ITW), no long term planning, only business planning on a quarter to quarter basis leading to frequent layoffs, hectic random restructuring and pivoting priorities from quarter to quarter. Now as an ITW company, upper management might be thinking longer term - Lack of reinvestment into products and R&D - Lots of attrition from all departments (hard to keep up with who is still with the company and who has left as it changes daily...) - Work life balance is so-so
