Pros

Employees may enjoy relaxed approval processes for taking leave, limited to a maximum of 2 consecutive days. Additionally, work-from-home facilities are available as per company guidelines.

Cons

Fixed Salary Structure: Salaries appear to be rigidly standardized across levels, from entry-level roles to upper management, which does not adequately reflect varying responsibilities, experience, or contributions. Management Conduct and Employee Treatment: There is a perception that management is overly demanding (“busy” with operations) and treats staff as inexpensive labor, fostering a toxic work environment. Favouritism in Promotions and Salary Hikes: Promotion and increment decisions seem influenced by favoritism rather than merit, performance, or objective criteria, leading to widespread dissatisfaction.

Pros

The work is fun, the culture is amazing, our growth opportunity is gigantic, but the people are the best part. When you are in a high growth environment some turbulence is expected (that's how rocket ships work) but the difference between expected bumps and chaos is the caliber of people reacting to the changes. The team at MarginEdge is truly the best I've ever worked with - they are hard working, care about our customers and sprint at problems - which is exactly the recipe you need when you are growing as fast as we are. The culture is built on service and hospitality that not only informs how we serve customers but is reflected in how we serve each other. MarginEdge has an exceptional business opportunity in the market - with a best in class product, world class service and a insanely smart people who care deeply about the work - but it is such a gift that in addition to all of those (rare) qualities to also enjoy and care about the people you work with is such a gift.

Cons

A byproduct of high growth is high rate of change. It's not a con necessarily, but it is a reality of an organization like ours. There are moments when the pendulum swings a little too hard in the change direction and we have to calibrate back, but MarginEdge is guided by a leadership team that really cares about the organization and tries to quickly react if the (expected) turbulence gets too bumpy. Honestly this isn't a con if you like a fast-paced, high-growth environment, but it's not for everyone!
