      Pros

      There are great people who work at Maritz who really care about their clients.

      Cons

      Upper management at Maritz Research has decided to offshore as many jobs as possible to prop-up profits. There is poor communication between employees and management. Employee morale is suffering. The company has been aggressively replacing all in-house IT employees with offshore developers. Most of the talented IT employees who were not initially laid off have left the company. The remaining IT employees are overworked and are actively looking for new employment.

      Pros

      GM client was great to work with. Many peers were good to work with. Company overall touts good values and 'family' atmosphere. I would recommend the company, but not the leader of this project.

      Cons

      VP/Director of the automotive division had her favorites, was ill-informed about the most basic HR issues. Needed management training badly, I doubt she had any. Many members of the management team in the later years were 'yes' people...the director didn't really listen to their input. They were figureheads with no real authority. Speaking poorly of her boss in public situations was very unprofessional, and was not a good look for her.
