      Pros

      Mars is a great business for many reasons, it’s got great scale and significant market share. There is definitely a ‘Mars’ culture that people either fit or don’t but most people find a way to adapt as it’s a culture they value. Personal development is advocated and taken pretty seriously. The office location has improved recently and the company offers good work life balance. Plenty of career opportunities at all levels

      Cons

      The business is pretty slow, however BIFG are driving some pace. Innovation is limited. The car allowance is under market index and applied inconsistently. A feedback culture that can lack accountability

      I’ve been at Mars (Yorkville site) for about three months as a Quality Systems Senior Specialist, and so far it’s been a great experience. Everyone has been genuinely friendly, welcoming, and willing to help. The culture feels very supportive—people want to see you succeed and are quick to share knowledge and offer guidance. My manager has been amazing and is truly invested in my growth. She’s helped set clear expectations, encouraged development, and provided the tools and support I need to be successful.

      None so far—still new, but my experience has been very positive.
