Pros

Strong global brands. Strong industry presence. Engaging associates. Slightly innovative, willing to work with retailers to collaborate, partner, invest in win win outcomes.

Cons

Work life balance is non existent. Heavy work loads and not enough head count to support sales teams. Upper management hires outside consultants to come in and reduce management spans/layers, piling more responsibility on the sales managers. Also only a chosen few will get the opportunity to move to upper management, and the majority of sales managers can only look for lateral moves.

Work Life Balance, Dog Friendly, Inclusion, and overall excellent atmosphere. I am blown away at the communication and willingness to help raise up employees.

Cons

Must have drive, and be a self starter.

Pros

I’ve been at Mars (Yorkville site) for about three months as a Quality Systems Senior Specialist, and so far it’s been a great experience. Everyone has been genuinely friendly, welcoming, and willing to help. The culture feels very supportive—people want to see you succeed and are quick to share knowledge and offer guidance. My manager has been amazing and is truly invested in my growth. She’s helped set clear expectations, encouraged development, and provided the tools and support I need to be successful.

Cons

None so far—still new, but my experience has been very positive.
