Pros

Location is in a safe area in Orange County minutes from Huntington Beach. Always parking available. Flexible scheduling and always overtime available. Good working relationship between many of the physicians and nurses

Cons

Company has no concern for patient or staff safety. Do not get breaks but are required to sign off time cards stating that you did. Frequently out of staffing ratios. At night only one MD in the ER and no coverage for ICU patients. Nursing management threatened by idea of employees advancing education. Nurse educators are not masters prepared.

Pros

I work with some people who truly care about patient care The brand still matters within the regional industry

Cons

- Terrible new leadership who has created a toxic work environment. - Those who haven't been laid off are certainly looking for opportunities elsewhere. - They do not invest in their employees. Old equipment and laptops, deny training opportunities. - They are in a challenging financial situation and that is felt everywhere. - Massive layoffs means every team is understaffed and overworked. HR is a shell of its former self.
