Pros

The engineers and techs that work here are great, very intelligent and know how to get things done. The executives are out of touch and useless.

Cons

More layoffs are on the books for Boise in January 2020. Three straight years of continuous layoffs here, not looking good, someone wants Boise gone. Let’s cut so many people so that Boise can not possibly succeed, then we can blame them for failing and shut them down for good. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Once you do get laid off, you will have to move out of state for a decent job because Boise has no other tech jobs. It’s just not worth it to come here.

Pros

Decent pay, great stock grants and stock purchase plan. You can be at the forefront of memory technology driving today's AI megaboom, and benefit from the high demand (i.e. soaring stock price).

Cons

Little sense of community, lifeless office environment, dead-eyed and overworked employees. "Flexible work arrangements" in name only, as recent policy changes have significantly reduced effectiveness especially if you have a long commute or family life. Too much emphasis on unimportant buzz such as embracing diversity and inclusion is just annoying, but par for the course in today's big tech industry.
