      Pros

      You have the opportunity to make great relationships with the patients and learn a lot from the physicians

      Cons

      you can not trust management. they will make their shortcomings your fault, like not properly training new hires or de-escalating employee confrontations. Many microaggressions like calling Asian people “oriental” but whispering it as if that makes it not derogatory, labeling Black women as violent when they were not the aggressor.

      Pros

      Of all the companies I have worked for Novant has been the best experience. I moved back into leadership after years of having stepped back from leadership due to burnout and frustration. Novant invests more than any company I have seen in both frontline and leader development, with cohesive messaging about priorities. I truly enjoy the teams I work with.

      Cons

      IT was moved to overseas a few years back. They back-pedaled on this and moved some aspects back to domestic coverage, but overall, I can't see where this improves operational efficiency despite surface level savings.
