      Pros

      The pay is comparable to other larger hospitals in the area. I work with very dedicated and talented nurses at Novant.

      Cons

      Down sizing when the patient census is at an all time high. The attitude of if you don't like it "we can help you find another job." PCR scores based on 80 questions are just a joke. Upper management appears out of touch with the care giving aspect.

      Pros

      Care associates are allowed to do what CNAs do, but they do not have to have the certification. Entry level pay is the same and there are equal raises between roles each year. Part time status an average of 24 hr/week, you can work more than that and you receive full benefits, two forms of bonus every year, immediate PTO (80hrs/year). 12 or 8 hour shifts available, make your own schedule

      Cons

      sometimes short staffed unit, so work becomes fast-paced - if you like being active and constantly moving, this job is fun.
