Pros

Novant has a good reputation with the public.

Cons

I have no real job security and feel I could be replaced with a new RN in order for Novant to save money. I've been a nurse for 17 years and get paid more than a new grad.

Pros

I had a great experience as a Research Assistant at Novant Health. The team was welcoming, collaborative, and supportive of learning. I gained valuable experience in clinical research, data collection, patient interactions, and working alongside healthcare professionals. The environment encouraged professional growth, and I appreciated the opportunity to contribute to meaningful research while developing skills that will benefit my future career in healthcare.

Cons

Depending on the project, the workload could fluctuate, and some tasks were repetitive, such as data entry and documentation. However, these responsibilities are a normal part of research and helped reinforce attention to detail.
