Pros
experienced account people, good PTO
Cons
none of the pros justify how terrible this place is. you’ll only find real, hardworking people in pockets, at least the ones who have survived 3 rounds of layoffs and the latest toxic soup the ELT keeps stirring. biggest problems are the chief strategist and chief creative officer. wouldn’t know modern marketing if it smacked them in the face with a cannes lion. ogilvy health had the potential to become a 21st century powerhouse but has regressed to just a campaign shop, and not a good one at that, under their leadership. these women exemplify the fact that it’s not enough just to promote women - you have to actually find women who are good people and care about anything besides their own egos and outdated visions. corporate feminism at its finest! if you value politics above people and want to sacrifice quality work, client impact, and your moral compass, this is a great place to work! ask for the ELT, enough people are leaving that i’m sure they’ll be hiring very soon.
