Stay Away - Recruiter Outsource Employee Review

Toxic work environment - as a Recruiter you are on call 24/7 and will get reprimanded if you have one of your candidates no-show/late to a job - even if it's at 3 or 4am. My manager was too young to be managing and extremely immature - he hovered over everyone in the office and picked apart everything we did, to the point where coming to work was stressful and anxiety-producing. I was performing to quota/exceeding quota, but never got the trust or respect of my manager. I was also right out of college and very young, and way to scared to speak up until I had been in the role for almost 2 years. Rampant sexism in the culture and they have the tendency to promote unqualified men over women who are over-producing. My previous manager would say sexist/racist things on the regular - our office was all women (except for him) and multiple women of color, which made all of us uncomfortable. After talking with my manager several times about his conduct, I went above him and set a meeting with his manager and spoke with him about the concerns of all of us in the office. My manager's response was to target me in our team meeting and pressure me to accept his apology, rather than change his future behavior. I visited several other offices (including headquarters) and the same toxicity is found throughout. This is a place where you GRIND in sales/recruiting for mediocre payout, and the industry (telecom/blue collar) is super tough. There are much better staffing companies to gain experience from where there is better career development, and where you can make WAY more money. I spent 2 years here and finally took a deep breath when I left this place.
