Pros
The products are great and you can't argue with their financial strength for 70+ years. Work / life balance can pretty good (unless you're an accountant). People are personable and build real friendships at work, especially since so many people stay there for their whole careers.
Cons
Finanically they take a very short sighted view, looking at only the current quarter and year and starving investment in some basic things to make people's jobs easier or get cost savings in the long term. Focus on product is good, but actually getting tools to help do the rest of operations easier never get done. The downside of people staying there so long is that they lack original ideas, and have trouble moving forward because people who have been there a long time will never be fired and so can be totally ineffective without being dealt with.
