      Pros

      Employees are treated with respect and given the opportunity to run their territories with autonomy. Expectations are reasonable and the required hours, while long at times during the year are well balanced with the salary.

      Cons

      At times the leadership and performance review functions at PPG are extremely lax. There is a very organized means of performance review but it is not policed or used by management. In my years with the company we discussed my performance review and improvement plan only once, and then for only 1/2 an hour.

      Pros

      - Education benefits (but access/support depends on your manager) - Flexible workplace (work hours/wfh) - Diverse workforce.

      Cons

      - Does not support employee promotions. Very difficult to get promoted if you are not an engineer. - Low pay, salary increases depend on manager. For the past couple years, most employees did not even receive adjustment for inflation. - Constantly loses top talent because management is unwilling to invest to keep good employees.
