      Pros

      It's a job and you get a paycheck.

      Cons

      WAY too many overpaid managers who do nothing. The people who actually do work are paid the least. No increased compensation for great performance, instead more pressure, additional work, harder assignments. Age/office politics/gender matter more than actual skills. The people who stay with this company are either the ones who get paid to do nothing, or losers without any self respect. Stay here a few years then leave for a raise.

      Pros

      - Education benefits (but access/support depends on your manager) - Flexible workplace (work hours/wfh) - Diverse workforce.

      Cons

      - Does not support employee promotions. Very difficult to get promoted if you are not an engineer. - Low pay, salary increases depend on manager. For the past couple years, most employees did not even receive adjustment for inflation. - Constantly loses top talent because management is unwilling to invest to keep good employees.
