Pros

- Good people at the low levels who genuinely try and want to make a good product - Pretty good pay and benefits ($1 health insurance for individuals)

Cons

- Upper management makes decisions that prioritize their egos and control over actual productivity or morale. They seem to hate their employees and prioritize fearful vindictiveness over true leadership. - Stock compensation is a trap, you won't make it that far. Honestly not even sure the stock itself is going to make it that far. - Mediocre 401(k) match (3.5% if you put in 6%) - I don't know if they say they'll give bonuses anymore, but getting them is more about your team and manager than your individual performance. Same for "promotions". - Leadership does not live corporate values. - It doesn't matter if you take pride in your work or want to develop a good product. The deadline is always yesterday at the cost of the clients.

Pros

You can make a lot of money if you are in the right territory and have a good client base that hasn’t been oversold by previous AMs. The training is very good and you will make good friends! The people they hire are smart and fun to be around

Cons

If there has been high turnover in your territory it will be hard to sell as the clients have products that have not been properly implemented and are likely gun shy to purchase. It will also depend how “over promised/under delivered” their experience with new business is. The work/life balance can, and probably will, become very toxic. You are on the road constantly if you have a travel heavy territory which makes it difficult to get admin work done during business hours. You will be working before and/or after work - probably on the weekends as well. Ask for transparency in your territory assignment. You want to know how far your furthest client is as you will have to go see them in person at some point

This is a performance-driven role with high expectations, and team members are given clear direction and the tools to succeed. Those who consistently deliver see meaningful rewards for the work they put in. Please share further feedback with your leader.
