Pros

Good base salary, they will hire you with little to no experience, potential to earn good commission-- if you make it through training without being fired.

Cons

-NO work life balance and constant micromanaging. Only 5 vacation days for the whole year!! -They provide you with no laptop or internet but expect you to demo their product with clients and stay organized. They will try to talk you into buying a $1500 iPad Pro however. One girl actually said to buy several... -Technology in the office is incredibly outdated- desktop computers running on windows 2000 and a printers that never work so you have to pay for printing. Very disappointing for a company that prides itself on innovative and modern tech.

Unfortunately, since you didn’t disclose a location we were unable to verify your claims regarding technology in the sales office. We can verify that our IT department is readily available to address any technology needs. We also understand that some individuals have technology preferences of their own, but we do not mandate any specific investments in technology devices. Additionally, we also provide a vast variety of marketing material, swag items and resources for sales representatives to use at their discretion. Employees in their first year receive PTO, sick days and company holidays and it increases with their tenure at the company. We’re also proud of Paycom’s award-winning sales training program and coaching provided to our new sales representatives. We will be sure to communicate your feedback with the Paycom leadership team.

Pros

* Fast learning and professional skill growth. * Great people and strong teams. * Recognized name in the OKC community. * Valuable experience that strengthens future career opportunities, especially in Tech.

Cons

Over the past couple of years, career growth has felt extremely limited. Promotions and meaningful raises have become increasingly rare, and many employees believe these decisions are being driven from the very top. Layoffs and terminations have also become common, creating a constant sense of uncertainty. High performers often take on high-visibility projects with aggressive timelines and limited support. The expectations are unrealistic, and even successful delivery doesn’t usually lead to recognition or advancement. Leadership tends to make decisions very late, creating unnecessary urgency and forcing teams into last-minute scrambles. Benefits have declined, opportunities for advancement have become scarce, and overall morale has suffered significantly. There are talented people here and it can be a good place to gain experience, but I would view it primarily as a stepping stone rather than a long-term destination.
