* Uplifting atmosphere: Overall I feel a comfortable, encouraging, yet challenging environment. Learned a lot through training, projects, tech talks, and annual code-a-thons.
* Flexible working shift: I chose 9-6 so that I can sleep a little late and avoid morning rush.
* Great cafe: Two of them, discounted price, from different catering every day. Plus monthly company luncheon.
* Nice gym: Really enjoy fitting courses with professional coach.
* Good pay: Besides salary, there're stock rewards as long term incentive.
Cons
As mentioned above, gym is nice. And we also have a big beautiful backyard park, great for running outside or soccer. But by now, the gym is kind small for growing people. Hope the company can expand it soon, and add a swimming pool!

Thank you for sharing such a nice review! We're thrilled you are enjoying the uplifting atmosphere at Paycom! We appreciate your feedback about expanding the gym, and we will be sure to share this with our leadership team.
The work we do is challenging but is satisfying. $4 dollar lunches are great and I enjoy the people and managers I work with. We have gone through changes, but the changes are worth it and the tools we are provided keep us successful. The salary is great and top level, highly recommend working here if you love a challenge. I promise you’ll never be bored.
Cons
The workload and hours can be heavy at times, but the long-term gratification is worth it. Paycom is about long-term investment, and it requires patience and perseverance but it’s worth it, if you are strong enough.

* Fast learning and professional skill growth.
* Great people and strong teams.
* Recognized name in the OKC community.
* Valuable experience that strengthens future career opportunities, especially in Tech.
Cons
Over the past couple of years, career growth has felt extremely limited. Promotions and meaningful raises have become increasingly rare, and many employees believe these decisions are being driven from the very top. Layoffs and terminations have also become common, creating a constant sense of uncertainty.
High performers often take on high-visibility projects with aggressive timelines and limited support. The expectations are unrealistic, and even successful delivery doesn’t usually lead to recognition or advancement. Leadership tends to make decisions very late, creating unnecessary urgency and forcing teams into last-minute scrambles.
Benefits have declined, opportunities for advancement have become scarce, and overall morale has suffered significantly. There are talented people here and it can be a good place to gain experience, but I would view it primarily as a stepping stone rather than a long-term destination.
