Pros

The team culture and benefits are good.

Cons

They have very tight (sometimes near impossible) deadlines, Not enough respect for a work life balance from upper management, and more recently they removed work from home in their tech department. Even after promising that the only reason we'd return to the office would be from a performance decrease. They have not cited any decrease, and have only cited "some small communication issues" (again no examples). They have been hiring under the assurance of working from home, but have not kept that. Overall, it seems like upper management is out of touch with most of their current employees.

We understand everyone processes change differently and that change can be difficult. Beginning in August 2021, we began slowly returning to the office and have seen tremendous momentum from the groups who returned to our campuses, which has helped our people be more successful. For the company we are and the goals we’ve set, this is the best decision to continue our rapid growth. Pros

The work we do is challenging but is satisfying. $4 dollar lunches are great and I enjoy the people and managers I work with. We have gone through changes, but the changes are worth it and the tools we are provided keep us successful. The salary is great and top level, highly recommend working here if you love a challenge. I promise you’ll never be bored.

Cons

The workload and hours can be heavy at times, but the long-term gratification is worth it. Paycom is about long-term investment, and it requires patience and perseverance but it’s worth it, if you are strong enough.
