Pros

$1 health insurance!! Or maybe I'm lying! Work here and find out!

Cons

For the last 3 years, Paycom has advertised to its entire development department that remote work was a permanent change. When our team leaders asked upper management if we would ever have to return back, upper management responded with "no". Not maybe, not possibly, just "no". Yesterday, the CIO pulled 2000 employees into a meeting with the chat disabled, videos disabled, our entire livelihood disabled. He told us there had been recent "communication slippage", that we "have not been firing on all cylinders", and said that the Dallas Cowboys have similar problems and that its usually related to communication. So they revoked the WHF policy with less than a months notice and created a webpage for us to leave comments and ask questions. In response to the question, "We were told that WFH is permanent. Why is this changing so suddenly?", they said "Our goal has always been to come together again." OH? HAS IT? Paycom lied for 3 years straight to the employees that it claims to care about and value so very much. Do yourself a favor. Don't work for Paycom. The pay is average for the industry and the people making decisions receive 4-12 million a year in stock awards-- so yeah, they forgot what it's like to pay for gas, tolls, childcare, etc..

Pros

* Fast learning and professional skill growth. * Great people and strong teams. * Recognized name in the OKC community. * Valuable experience that strengthens future career opportunities, especially in Tech.

Cons

Over the past couple of years, career growth has felt extremely limited. Promotions and meaningful raises have become increasingly rare, and many employees believe these decisions are being driven from the very top. Layoffs and terminations have also become common, creating a constant sense of uncertainty. High performers often take on high-visibility projects with aggressive timelines and limited support. The expectations are unrealistic, and even successful delivery doesn’t usually lead to recognition or advancement. Leadership tends to make decisions very late, creating unnecessary urgency and forcing teams into last-minute scrambles. Benefits have declined, opportunities for advancement have become scarce, and overall morale has suffered significantly. There are talented people here and it can be a good place to gain experience, but I would view it primarily as a stepping stone rather than a long-term destination.
