Pros

Hiring for lots of different positions

Cons

Company grew too fast. Employee parties, picnics, free sodas all stopped while company raking in highest earnings in history. Morale suffered. Promotions didn't occur often enough and management positions given to outsiders, not current employees. Result has been a huge employee turnover. Employees with most experience and company knowledge has left and gone elsewhere. Text Agents laid-off and now company hiring part-time Text Agents. Doesn't make sense to let employees go and turnaround and hire for same positions. Salaries were higher before Human Resources personnel hired. Employees do not seem to be important commodity for the company any more. Management and Board Members seem to be profiting from companies huge growth, but not the heart and soul employees of the company. Greed is a terrible thing.

Thank you for your comments. However, I wanted to clarify a few inaccuracies . PerfectServe celebrated it's 20th anniversary in 2017 with a huge company picnic in Knoxville and a separate event at our Chicago office. 90% of promotions come from within and we reduced turnover in 2017 by more than 25% from 2016. Our employees and their feedback are very important to us and we show that by offering a weekly 1 question survey so that we can keep our finger on the pulse of the organization. Many changes have happened b/c of this valued employee feedback. Leaders in any organization often have to make tough decisions in order to manage to our budget and those decisions are not always popular. As you said, we are a growing company and it is a very exciting time to be a part of PerfectServe. We thank you for your service and wish you nothing but the best in your future endeavors.

Pros

PerfectServe has a positive team culture. The people here make a real difference in the day-to-day experience. The fully remote setup with flexible scheduling shows that leadership trusts employees to manage their time and deliver results. One of the standout perks is the access to Senior Leadership. It's rare to feel like your voice can actually reach the top... and here it does.

Cons

The one trade-off of remote work is limited face-to-face connection with your team. It's not a dealbreaker because flexibility is worth it, but more opportunities for in-person collaboration (team offsites, occasional meetups) would go a long way in strengthening those relationships.

Thank you so much for this review! Our marketing team is a tight-knit group, so you definitely know what good team culture looks like. And duly noted about the opportunities for in-person collaboration—it can be tough in a remote world but we're always looking for ways to make stuff like that happen.
