Pros

During my time here I enjoy the many activities that I had the chance to participate in. From our family party in the summer to our Christmas party in the winter. Our newly implemented yoga classes to our super hero themed months where we watch movies in the break-room and dress up like our favorites. Or many great on-boarding initiatives, where we take employees to coffee or hold catered lunches and breakfasts multiple times a month. From our free messages, to flu shot clinics and blood drives. From our summer kickball league to private parties at WiseGuys in DownTown SLC. Reimbursing our employees for their travel via public transportation or GreenBike, over all it should be called FunSource. This and much more is something that keeps employees loving where they work and prospective employees eager for the chance to be apart of our family.

Cons

Not enough fun! No there are no cons, every environment working around other humans you will find rough spots but the culture of PlanSource is that we believe in adapting, change and growth. So as a whole they will work to make sure all employees feel confident in their role here.

Pros

Exciting company culture and fast paced. Management wants their employees to succeed and thrive.

Cons

Some leadership changes towards the end of my work there, but it seems like that has been smoothed out.

Pros

Remote or Hybrid work schedule, if you live outside of the city limits. Unlimited PTO policy, but is PTO ever unlimited.

Cons

There is not much room for advancement, if you’re not connected. Most of middle management and above are not POC. All the strong POC leaders were here today, gone the next day! The staff is overworked and underpaid. Only way to receive a higher salary is to resign and reapply. I survived a few CEOs, and once this last one came in all the tenured staff were being let go. Normal, if a new Executive comes in but there people were 15+ years in. This new PlanSource does not seem as if it cares much for their employees. Most of the workload is being outsourced to India. I’ve seen good, hardworking dedicate people get axed during my time! Not sure they’re invested in retaining good talent! Definitely a swim or sink culture, You will not get much help with learning the Benefits Admin system. It’s sort of a self-guided dive in approach.
