Pros

Just like the title says, the company has always kept it's promises to me. A few of those were in regards to salary, training and promotion potential. A roadmap for growth was laid out for me the day I started and as I have met those incremental goals, the rewards have grown. I have also seen this with many of my coworkers so I know they are fair and balanced across the board.

Cons

The only bad thing about the company is that they don't pay for parking and especially in the DC area, that can be a pain.

Pros

Fellow coworkers on the contract were friendly and reasonable people. Insurance options for vision and dental were appreciated.

Cons

Powertek failed to send my resignation email to HR with a months advance notice. I informed them of my intent to take my last week of PTO in the email, which they acknowledged. Thursday, the week before my last week, they informed me that HR has given a mandate that I cannot take the last week, and they moved my end date to Friday the next day. They refused to allow me to donate my excess PTO which was set to be used for the next week, and refused to give me a copy of the employee handbook on request, since they ended access to the company intranet. They will adhere to their legal obligations, but will otherwise try to avoid working with you when they stand to benefit. Such as to avoid paying out over 40 hours of PTO.
