Pros

Competitive pay for a non-profit. Faith-based company encourages employees to be less cutthroat in dealing with workplace situations.

Cons

Some departments don't have many opportunities for advancement. Tuition reimbursement program seems minimal. Benefits cost more for employees than at other companies.

Pros

Meaningful work and a schedule that supports an actual work/life balance, despite leadership's efforts to undermine both.

Cons

So-called merit raises of 1% to 3% are assigned at the whim of your core-leader. The result of this is that the longer you stay in your position, the further behind you will fall.
