As usual favouritism, Qualification is more important than the contribution.(Mtech with average contribution get promoted in 2years), Myself after delivering key milestone and got appreciation denied promo for 2 years. Hectic schedule and you can anticipate debug session going till mid night 2-3 am expect you to show up same day 9 am at office. Managers push the limit .
