Pros

Colleagues are great but are burdened with the workload of employees who have been part of a WFR.

Cons

The organization is top-heavy. They complain about the sales teams not generating enough revenue so they limit spending for teams, but it's ok to throw money at salaries for new leadership hired in the past 6 months. The new leadership does not value employees -- only what they can squeeze out of them. They specifically and certainly do not care about you or the contributions you've made when the let you go. "Here's a standard package, you should be grateful, bye!" Seriously, think twice before working at Quest.

Pros

Quest Software is a great place to work. The people are genuinely good people, very knowledgeable, and always willing to help. Quest is a strong environment if you enjoy solving complex technical problems, working with experienced teams, and helping customers address real business and security challenges. The company has a deep portfolio, talented employees, and many opportunities to collaborate across sales, presales, product management, engineering, and customer-facing teams. I also appreciate the flexibility, the trust given to senior employees, and the ability to contribute strategically beyond a narrow job description.

Cons

Like many large technology organizations, processes can sometimes be complex, and internal alignment across teams may take time. There are also opportunities to improve enablement, communication, and consistency around product packaging, roadmap visibility, and internal workflows.
