Pros

1. Great people, I was told upon joining there is a 'no w@nker policy' and this is 100% the case. Great people, talented and kind. 2. Approachable leadership more than willing to support sales folk 3. No micro-management - just careful, smart management with a clear aim to support rather than 'police' 4. Very clear to me there is no interest in conforming to the rampant ageism that exists in the software sales market... 40+ aged sales guys/girls are valued for the many years of experience they have..as oppose to being seen as 'past it' 5. Impressive new CEO in Tim Page - approachable, like the rest of the leadership, clear in his approach (and early strategy), supported by industry heavy-weights like Michael Capellas 6. Reasonable targets and for new starters, a 3-month full commission ramp up. Seems a clear aim for new starters to earn, and the same for long-standing sales folk too. 7, It's not all about sales guys of course and speaking to the non sales colleagues I have met they seem more than positive about working and progressing at Quest. 8. Last but by no means least - a great set of products that are in demand, suited to the new AI weighted market and loved by customers.

Cons

..... I really can't think of one. But it is early days.

Pros

Quest Software is a great place to work. The people are genuinely good people, very knowledgeable, and always willing to help. Quest is a strong environment if you enjoy solving complex technical problems, working with experienced teams, and helping customers address real business and security challenges. The company has a deep portfolio, talented employees, and many opportunities to collaborate across sales, presales, product management, engineering, and customer-facing teams. I also appreciate the flexibility, the trust given to senior employees, and the ability to contribute strategically beyond a narrow job description.

Cons

Like many large technology organizations, processes can sometimes be complex, and internal alignment across teams may take time. There are also opportunities to improve enablement, communication, and consistency around product packaging, roadmap visibility, and internal workflows.
