Pros

Some Good People; some are Team Players, making the best out of a bad situation. But it’s the wild Wild West, every man or woman for themselves, so you are 100% reliant upon the kindness of others to share important information, as you can’t get it elsewhere, leadership are of very little assistance. Most are drinking the corporate koolaid,… only doing things the same way they have always done it, unwilling to capitalize on the immense knowledge their employees bring to the table from other industries, leaving lots of money on the table for both the employee & the company.

Cons

They say the sales employee can write their own check, with unlimited income potential, yet they place numerous limits & restrictions, the number of accounts, the ability to add on new customers, paying you a reduced amount, with no visibility for the employee, you can’t get any real answers, they will tell you one thing, then the truth is another. In addition, you have a very limited amount of tools or items to sell in your arsenal, so really are unable to compete against the formidable competitors in many markets. If you can make a living only selling some adhesives, some tapes & PPE, then you might be ok, but when you see the huge income opportunities, that pay big dividends, you are not likely to succeed.

Pros

Majority of leadership and employees care deeply about each other and doing the right thing by customers.

Cons

Many people have been with the company 20-30years - while great, gaining their buy-in for needed change is difficult and slow.

Pros

The company values that corporate has put down on paper look/sound nice.

Cons

-Struggling financially -Benefits were drastically cut down over last 3 years in attempt to slow bleeding -No 401k matching, and ESOP share value in decline -Little to no accountability/oversight on senior management, and a high concentration of dishonest/morally bankrupt individuals within senior management -little to no room for advancement -Spiraling, as the employees that made this company great have either left or been pushed out. Coupled with a huge reliance on tribal knowledge, the majority of employees are now new, leading to increasing customer confusion/dissatisfaction due to the noticeable drop in service/quality. -Pay is not competitive -Frequently losing/settling lawsuits due to the way HR/management treats employees -Many locations closed/closing
