Pros

Learning new things everyday, personal sense of accomplishment

Cons

There is nothing bad about the learning and more importantly the experience, the really bad thing about this company is that senior leadership definitely has their favorites and it is unbelievable on how blatant they are with it. Primary reason of leaving poor moral, performance not based on quality of work but who they like the most. Few employees constantly suck up to senior management to get noticed, and the worst part about it is that it works. Poor communication, even having senior management say hello is rare unless you are one of the "favorites"

Pros

The voluntary separation offer was good.

Cons

I and hundreds of colleagues were transferred from Providence Health & Services to R1. We were told we were guaranteed our jobs for a year. They started offering voluntary separation packages less than a year in. This was suspicious. I didn't take the first couple of offers, but eventually I did - things were feeling uneasy. Since leaving I've heard that there were several layoffs. R1's India team has taken over a lot of the coding we were doing. In the reviews I read before we started with R1 I know losing jobs to the India team was common. I'm glad I left when I did but it's been hard finding a new job.
