      Pros

      Clients need our help and much satisfaction occurs when we find solutions not only from a technology stand point but also helping the client staff with their job function

      Cons

      Human Resources and the head of it should be replaced with talent that is focused on Human Capital. Human Capital would be an excellent way of growing the culture and attracting the right people to this growing firm

      Pros

      The voluntary separation offer was good.

      Cons

      I and hundreds of colleagues were transferred from Providence Health & Services to R1. We were told we were guaranteed our jobs for a year. They started offering voluntary separation packages less than a year in. This was suspicious. I didn't take the first couple of offers, but eventually I did - things were feeling uneasy. Since leaving I've heard that there were several layoffs. R1's India team has taken over a lot of the coding we were doing. In the reviews I read before we started with R1 I know losing jobs to the India team was common. I'm glad I left when I did but it's been hard finding a new job.
