      Pros

      Had a flexible schedule and co-workers were friendly

      Cons

      Managers are not the best at delegating tasks and have little knowledge of actual office dynamic. Not well organized in separate departments and little to no communications between departments. You're on your own 75-95 percent of the time.

      The voluntary separation offer was good.

      Cons

      I and hundreds of colleagues were transferred from Providence Health & Services to R1. We were told we were guaranteed our jobs for a year. They started offering voluntary separation packages less than a year in. This was suspicious. I didn't take the first couple of offers, but eventually I did - things were feeling uneasy. Since leaving I've heard that there were several layoffs. R1's India team has taken over a lot of the coding we were doing. In the reviews I read before we started with R1 I know losing jobs to the India team was common. I'm glad I left when I did but it's been hard finding a new job.
