Following the acquisition, there has been a noticeable uptick in our operations. We've seen the implementation of more structure and clearly defined goals that are within reach. The addition of OFS has brought in a wealth of resources and support, while the extra showrooms have been incredibly advantageous. One of the highlights has been the improved work-life balance, especially for those who effectively manage their accounts. It's reassuring to know that the management team is always there to offer support when needed as well.
Cons
Sure, while we did lose some benefits like unlimited PTO, we gained others like a 401k, so it's a mixed bag for me. There are still some kinks to iron out post-acquisition, but that's expected. It's clear OFS is realizing the value of acquiring a NYC start-up, even though it operates differently from their usual approach—it just takes time to adjust.
