Not bad idea, but more internal trainings should be provided.
As at the end if the rep does not perform its not the lack of trainings and know how, but "the rep not being suited for the role", basically they choose you as suited for the role, and if something goes south, they will gas light you, saying stuff light we did a mistake, you seem to be not fitted for the role, you should think about it...
