Pros

RMI is an excellent place for an intern, or recent college graduate starting a career in interactive marketing. They are not afraid to give you responsibility and you'll get valuable experience and skills quickly. They have good clients and good teams of self motivated employees working on their clients. After separating from two large accounts in 2009 the company has rebounded. RMI's growth could make it an exciting place to be in the next few years. Employees and alumni of RMI are seen in the Atlanta marketing community as talented and capable. The office is nice inside and is fairly laid back. Depending on your department and arrangement with your supervisor, there can be a good work-life balance when compared to other agencies.

Cons

Just like other reviews in 2009 the senior management team. Some senior management people have moved on since 2009. RMI senior management in general are hands off (good and bad). Good because you are not micro managed. Bad because you receive little feedback of how you fit into the big picture of the company. Too often a short notice all company afternoon meeting occurs with some new announcement or company change that completely catches employees off guard. The ownership relationship with BKV is weird. Most employees don't even understand how the BKV RMI connection works and does not like talking about it. While RMI appears independent from BKV, it actually is not. The company also has a tendency to promote with title changes over salary promotions. Many good employees that are not senior management are recruited from other competitive agencies in Atlanta.

Pros

Worked here five years ago before covid. Cool place to work at and made a lot of money when speaking commissions.

Cons

Barely any cons. Only that they kept raising the goal back then which made it a little difficult to go home with a good commission check, but who doesn't love a challenge?
