Pros

- A lot of effort and money is put into social events. - Modern and well-maintained tech stack.

Cons

- Poor work/life balance – Regular weekend and evening work due to poor project planning. Accommodated with the only unique perks like early Friday finishes and free Christmas week off were removed, which worsened morale. - Inefficient hardware and setup – Company-provided laptops are too slow for development. There’s excessive bureaucracy when requesting upgrades. No proper WFH equipment provided at onboarding. - Misguided (agile?) project planning – Teams spend days planning months in advance, only for priorities to change rapidly, making the upfront effort feel pointless. - Cliquey office culture - only rewards for hard work are monthly spot prizes that go to the same people each time.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We completely agree that our social committees are top-notch! If project planning is impacting your personal time, please raise this with your manager. If additional support is needed, escalate to your Executive Team member, as it is their responsibility to ensure projects are managed with available resources so employees are not working evenings or weekends, if that doesn't resolve it, please come and speak to us in HR. Regarding perks like early Friday finishes and free Christmas week off, these were part of a complete overhaul of employee benefits, which also introduced health insurance, life insurance, critical illness cover, income protection, an EV scheme, a tech scheme, enhanced family friendly policies and more. In response to your specific point about workspace, we’re excited to share that a desk booking system is being rolled out to your office shortly. This will help ensure everyone has access to a proper workspace on busy days, so no one needs to work in kitchens or improvise. Thank you for highlighting this, watch this space! On hardware and WFH equipment, please continue to raise these issues with SysAdmin, who manage policy and budgets in this area. From an HR perspective, we also provide a tech scheme, please contact HR for more information. For laptops or other equipment concerns, raising the issue through the proper SysAdmin channels is essential; if a resolution isn’t reached, escalate to their manager or their Executive Team member. Finally, the Rewarding You prizes do go to different people each month, the whole company have the records to confirm this, and we continue to encourage thoughtful nominations to ensure colleagues are recognised for their contributions. Thank you again for your feedback, it helps us continue improving the experience for everyone.

Pros

I had a great time learning from some top-tier developers, and made some great friends and connections.

Cons

Passion and drive sometimes exceeded team capacity. This was over a year ago, and I have heard great things since.

Pros

The company offers great social events that help build strong relationships across teams. The offices are well-designed, and the benefits package is competitive and well thought out. The work is challenging yet interesting and meaningful, with strong development and promotional opportunities. There are good opportunities for professional development and continuous learning. Employees have the chance to travel between offices, which supports collaboration and career growth. The leadership teams are available, approachable, and open to conversation. The company is stable, providing a strong sense of long-term opportunity.

Cons

Teams are close-knit, which can occasionally lead to gossip. Support from managers could be improved.
