      Pros

      It pays, you run a lot of different tests and you get hands on experience with instruments.

      Cons

      You run testing for big name clients than can be very pushy and demanding. As a third party verification service, no client wants to hear that their product if failing and a failing product is a head ache. No real upward mobility.

      Plenty of work, decent benefits

      Cons

      Management can get in the way of things and their is also constant shifting. Also, management has to unfortunately wear a lot of hats which gets in the way of adequate training for new hires and can sometimes lead to issues.
