- it's ok to start a career if you want insight into travel industry, for more experienced people it is a waste of time - good name to have on CV (still)
Cons
- Pay 20-30% under industry standard - rampant bullying by management, bully culture with frequent threats - forced to stay up all night to deal with US HQ no matter the time zone - holiday is just 'working away from home' - prying into private life of employees, to find ways to discriminate even if stated otherwise in Code of Conduct - integrity hotline is useless - random promotions of people or none at all, to the point that some areas have more managers than people to manage - getting mis-sold on your role is quite common There are not only frequent layoffs but also people leaving in droves, so there is frequent hiring of people with no knowledge of the industry and firing of people who are experts or who leave for greener pastures.
