Good for a first job, but won't keep you for long if you want a challenge - Associate Software Developer Sabre Employee Review

Pros

Decent salary and benefits, nice, sympathetic people, flexible working hours. How interesting the job is depends strongly on the team you end up with. Unfortunately, some of them are really dull. Good if you want to get the feel of working for a big, serious software company and learn some tools associated with it.

Cons

While there are many great new projects starting at all times, there are also many positions aimed mostly at maintaining legacy systems and bugfixing. That, for me, is really boring, so I decided to leave. Also, there isn't much place for self-improvement or making a big career. People stay in one place, attached to their systems and technologies. If it's your first job, it should be good for some time. If, however, you're looking for a challenge, you can try searching through some of the more exciting opportunies, but you're probably better off elsewhere anyway.

Pros

Friendly coworkers and managers Good PTO Hybrid work schedule

Cons

Frequent layoffs Unreasonable work expectations No upward movement Low pay vs market Some departments don’t abide by hybrid expectations, so your team may be there 9-5 three days per week while another team shows up once or twice a week for only a few hours. Overly focused on AI while the stock still underperforms.
