Pros

Work from anywhere policies a plus and the work environment and culture though dependent on your leader, can be very open and conducive. Most leaders are open to ideas And if you are lucky enough to work for the better leaders, they are willing to help you move in your career.

Cons

Unsually long notice periods for most roles is definitely a challenge. Non managerial roles can serve up to 3 months notice period and is non negotiable. Shortage of staff is very real. Processes are lengthy and slow. "Innovation" through systems and software ended up making everything even slower. Top management and middle management are disconnected. Top management talks bout unleashing talents and reducing process complexity but middle management are coming up with new initiatives that make things slower, less efficient with little positive value, ironically, in the name of standardisation, improve efficiencies and reduce workload. Crazy pursuit of "value add" causes management to continously load the workforce to develop non useful process or tools. Why are we adding a 5th wheel and the car runs perfectly on 4 wheels?

Pros

Great Peer connections from various Groups and Locations

Cons

Mgmt worried about their own jobs and will use lower levels to scapegoat to keep theirs. Lack of forward vision and trying to stay relevant in marketplace by chasing latest trends in name only.
