      Overall good work/life balance and compensation is fair for the market. Work atmosphere is overall good.

      Cons

      Merger with Albertsons is challenging as the new world provides little company communication regarding direction and results. Safeway senior leadership team did a great of communicating.

      Friendly and helpful colleagues, weekly pay and flexible schedule

      Cons

      When it is busy, it is very busy. Lunch/Break may get pushed back or even denied in extreme cases because there is no one to cover for you.
