Pros

Introduction to folks at big brands

Cons

CEO is an egomaniac. He hates anything he can't control, unabashedly plays favorites with his female staff, and overall lacks any clue whatsoever. Spews pandering bs at you while he kneels next to your desk-unbelievable. He's the Donald Trump of SEO. I feel sick to my stomach every time I think about it. This place is so bloated with regard for itself. They are hemorrhaging clients. So grateful I got out when I did. I went on to immediately make 30% more money and be treated like an adult at a company that has a future. This company is based on "culture" but there is zero. Unless you count a culture of fear and dehumanization.

Pros

Seer is made for a very specific type of person: Smart, caring, organized, and collaborative. If you fit here, you REALLY fit. I will admit, the negative reviews had me a bit apprehensive, but I cannot emphasize this enough: You don’t know you’ll like or dislike something unless you give it a chance. And, you should give Seer a chance. You might just learn something incredible. Because of this, I’m over the moon I chose Seer. - exceptional benefits / pay / bonus structure connected to incentivized engagement - brilliant people who care and want to help - unlimited PTO that you’re encouraged to use - Office politics and all that other stuff is not tolerated; the company has some of the best culture I’ve been a part of in a long time - the work can be difficult, but only for short bursts, most of the time it is (75% of the month) straightforward work and innovation. One week will be hectic and then it’s smooth sailing. A very good balance. I used to be overworked every single day. Not here. Managers are here to support you. First company I’ve been at in over a decade where this is the case.

Cons

None at this time! I would say the first 90 days is a learning curve, then it gets exponentially easier. And, everyone answers your questions in the blink of an eye.
