Pros

Flexible schedule Helpful managers 401(k) match On-site clinic

Cons

Hybrid Work From Home Model instead of permanent WFH, even though we've had a couple very successful years working from home. They built a new building and want people in it. Boasts about huge company surplus, but gives shockingly low "bonuses" to low and mid-level employees. Advertises amenities that normal employees haven't been able to use in more than two years. Golf course on site is only for the 1%. Even at the employee rate, you better harvest a few organs if you want to bring friends and family as guests. Same goes for the new hotel. Had a higher up tell me that donating to United Way is optional, but so is Sentry's choice to keep me employed. Most people donate out of fear or guilt to get extra PTO.

It’s great to hear you love your job and we want to make sure you continue to love your job. I encourage you to share role-specific feedback with your manager and discuss next steps. At a company level, we appreciate your feedback and are taking associate comments into consideration as we make decisions moving forward. Lastly, please know donating to any organization is absolutely optional, and if you feel otherwise, report that to your HR representative. I encourage you to continue sharing your feedback with us moving forward. Javier Sotelo – Senior Director of Talent

Pros

Multiple office locations across the country Hybrid system for those that like to be in office

Cons

Poor communication Low pay compared to other industry positions Software is old and outdated Positions that are typically salary are hourly based Most "surveys" to gauge employee sentiment are constructed in such a way that no negative feedback can be left Hybrid or in office is required, no option for full remote If you happen to be full remote, there is no upward mobility possible for you, period. Excessive workload Not very good benefits

Thank you for your feedback. We understand that workloads can fluctuate from time to time and encourage our associates to have conversations with their leadership teams for support. Our organization regularly reviews market rates to ensure our compensation rates are competitive. We also strive to offer work life balance along with growth opportunities. We believe our hybrid model is the right blend of at-home days to support flexibility, and in-office days to support team collaboration. Regarding your other comments, we take feedback like this seriously, and I encourage you to reach out to me or another supervisor to discuss your concerns further.
