Pros

They promote based on merit, regardless of gender, race, or sexual orientation. Great work environment for claims with technicians that assist on our mundane tasks that other companies don’t provide. The best part is the pay! They are the highest paying employer in the region and they match 401k up to 8%. That is unheard of! They invest in you as long as you put in the work and stay positive.

Cons

Some may not like that this is a hybrid work schedule. Mondays and Friday’s are work from home and Tuesdays through Thursday are in the office. Working in claims takes good work ethic all the time along with good critical thinking skills. This job isn’t for you if you do mediocre work or expect things to just be handed to you.

Thank you taking the time for this review. I’m pleased to see you’re enjoying your career at Sentry and the benefits package we offer. We believe our hybrid work model is another benefit, allowing time for employees to collaborate with each other while also being able to work from home. Thank you again for your feedback. Pros

Multiple office locations across the country Hybrid system for those that like to be in office

Cons

Poor communication Low pay compared to other industry positions Software is old and outdated Positions that are typically salary are hourly based Most "surveys" to gauge employee sentiment are constructed in such a way that no negative feedback can be left Hybrid or in office is required, no option for full remote If you happen to be full remote, there is no upward mobility possible for you, period. Excessive workload Not very good benefits
