Pros

- The company really encourages fresh ideas, there’s space to be creative and try new things without fear of failure. - Diversity and inclusion aren’t just buzzwords here. People from all backgrounds are welcomed, respected, and given a voice. - Leadership actually listens. You feel like your input matters, and that’s rare. - The work feels meaningful. You’re not just clocking in, you’re contributing to something bigger. - The teams across the company are full of smart, kind, and passionate people who genuinely care about what they do. - There’s genuine support for growth, whether it’s through mentorship, hands-on training, or simply being trusted to explore new ideas and take on fresh challenges. - Communication is clear and honest, which makes it easier to trust the direction the company is heading. - Flexibility is a big plus. They understand that life happens and trust you to manage your time.

Cons

There haven’t really been any cons so far, just waiting for the creation of an asociación solidarista. I know the team is already working on it, and we in Costa Rica are really looking forward to having one!

Pros

ServiceNow had a differentiated platform and products. Early on the culture had a startup energy that was rare for a company this size collaborative teams, ownership, and a sense that people actually cared about outcomes. Working with large enterprise customers on complex workflows was interesting work.

Cons

The ServiceNow I joined was a different company. As headcount increased, so did the bureaucracy, layers, and friction that rewarded politics over execution. The layoffs of the last few years were handled poorly little transparency, inconsistent communication, and decisions that felt made far above with little thought for the people affected. The "cost optimization" messaging rang hollow against continued executive spending. For a company that sells workflow and people process tools, the irony of a chaotic RIF wasn't lost on anyone in the field or on customers. Leadership political dynamics were real. The right team, the right manager you had cover. Performance alone didn't protect you.
