Pros

Joining ServiceNow means stepping into a company that truly practices what it preaches. From day one, I felt like I had jumped onto a high-speed train — driven by innovation, precision, and purpose. The onboarding experience was world-class: structured, empowering, and deeply aligned with our mission to make work work better for everyone. Internally, we use the same cutting-edge tools and AI-powered workflows that we deliver to our customers. Everything is seamlessly organized and automated — a living example of the value our platform provides. ServiceNow is not just a tech company; it’s a global, well-orchestrated sales and marketing engine with solutions that genuinely make a difference. If you thrive in a dynamic, international, and complex software environment, this is the place to be. You’ll collaborate with some of the brightest, kindest, and most driven professionals in the industry — all united by a shared vision and a strong sense of purpose.

Cons

In a company that celebrates process excellence, it’s no surprise that workflows are meticulously designed. But sometimes, the love for structure can go a step too far — and you find yourself opening a ticket for things that might just need a quick chat. A touch more pragmatism could help us stay agile without losing our operational edge. Also, the pace is exhilarating — but not without pressure. The growth ambition is bold, and the quarterly rhythm keeps us sharp. Still, in our race to scale, we should remember: even high-speed trains need smooth curves. Taking a moment to breathe, reflect, and recalibrate can help us reach our destination not just faster, but better.

Pros

ServiceNow had a differentiated platform and products. Early on the culture had a startup energy that was rare for a company this size collaborative teams, ownership, and a sense that people actually cared about outcomes. Working with large enterprise customers on complex workflows was interesting work.

Cons

The ServiceNow I joined was a different company. As headcount increased, so did the bureaucracy, layers, and friction that rewarded politics over execution. The layoffs of the last few years were handled poorly little transparency, inconsistent communication, and decisions that felt made far above with little thought for the people affected. The "cost optimization" messaging rang hollow against continued executive spending. For a company that sells workflow and people process tools, the irony of a chaotic RIF wasn't lost on anyone in the field or on customers. Leadership political dynamics were real. The right team, the right manager you had cover. Performance alone didn't protect you.
