SGS can change their name (to SGT) and move to a new fancy building but cannot outrun their reputation. - Anonymous employee Siemens Employee Review

Pros

The benefits package is leveraged off Siemens AG and is great for low benefit costs for medical and dental plans.

Cons

The complete lack of reciprocity and gratitude towards client site staff supporting a bloated corporate office is outrageous. Antiquated yet rigid Corporate policies hinder client site staff and our customers. Client sites receive a revolving door of managers, some as many as 5 managers a year but all are incompetent. Corporate staff is unresponsive to both client site and customer needs yet bonuses go to them, not income-generating client site staff. Incompetence in several functional areas of corporate staff; perfect example is an email from corporate stating everyone would get a bonus but when nobody actually received the bonus, they issued a cold sorry statement. One client site tripled revenue for SGT (despite also going through a layoff and cutting staff by 20%) and no bonus or recognition was given to hard working client site staff. Instead, corporate employees moved to a new, expensive office and fattened the organizational chart with new hires with little government contracting experience.

Pros

Great company and coworkers. People are very nice and friendly and the CEC is a nice place to work and the role has flexible hours.

Cons

There is a lot of work to be done so there's a lot of stress that comes with the role. There are times where you will have to work over 40 hours a week. Seems like work-life balance is not prioritized.
